Day Date in Augusta

oh our way home

Well, actually Evans, to be exact. Kayla and I have been talking about meeting up in Augusta for a while. It's almost exactly 2 hours from both of us, right in the middle. Sean's buddy Skyler gave us the name of this really neat community park in Evans, and so we met there today! It was a REALLY nice area, and fun park! Brody had fun running around, pushing random strollers, meeting girls, etc..and Kayla and I got to catch up for a bit while we played with Annabelle. She also brought Brody's old exersaucer for Annabelle, and we brought it out to the playground so she could play too! :) There was suppose to be a "splash pad" at the park, but it wasn't working, but another mom told us there was one of at the library (across the street). We went over there to cool off, but it was super crowded with big (6-12 year olds probably), rambunctious kids, who wree spraying everyone in the face with their squirt guns. MEAN! Brody wasn't into that (and Annabelle had already passed out). So we went to Red Robin for lunch, and poor Brody could barely keep his eyes open long enough to eat. Long day for that little man! Anyway, it was really fun and I'm glad I got to see my bestie for the day!
