Annabelle blew out her diaper today. As we were running to the bathroom, and she was still pooping! she threw up down the front of my shirt and pants. ohhh my! so instead of waiting until tonight to get a bath, she (and I) got one early :) I don't think she minded one bit!

Kayla visits!!

Kayla drove all the way up from Stockbridge today to meet Annabelle!! It was a great day with my best friend. I SO wish we still lived just across town from each other! I  miss her :(
Annabelle loved her. She got super cozy laying on her chest and slept most of the time. When she was awake, she just stared and smiled at her...it was so sweet :)

SC weather

Summer, monsoon, winter....and the crazy cycle continues. Today was cold :) Sean had to work, so we went over to have dinner with Sadie and help start wedding invites! Actually it wasn't very !!! because her printer was possessed and we spent most of the time trying to figure out how to print them.

ESC Valentines party

Tonight I left Annabelle, and a pumped bottle of milk (her first actually! and she did so well and ate the whole thing for him!), home with Sean and went to our ESC Valentines day party! First time really getting out without the baby. Nick was mad lol (Nick, my friend Megan's husband who was also at the party wasnted to see her). We ate, talked and did a gift exchange to the tune of Christmas Left, right story lol

Kristin's awesome monster box

Outlets

Kelly, Annabelle and I went to the outlets in Charleston today. On another beautiful (80 degree!) day, we definitely wanted to be outside enjoying the sun. We hoped to get into town and maybe Folly Beach too, but we quickly ran out of time (and daylight) at the outlets, which was fine. It was a fun day, Kelly found some awesome deals on cute work clothes and Annabelle walked (was pushed in her stroller) away with several bags of bright, springy/summery clothes from Aunt Kelly and myself :) We found some AWESOME deals at Carter's and Childrens Place. I really like how Carter's has all those Mix-n-match outfits. With what we got, I can mix-and-match over 15 outfits! And together we spent less than $50. NICE!

Swan Lake

Josh and Kelly came over and made us brunch (Sean came home from work to join us!) and  then we went on a walk around the neighborhood. After about half a mile, I thought this day was just TOO gorgeous to walk around our boring neighborhood, so I suggested going to Swan Lake for a walk. :) it was really beautiful and fun! Annabelle rode in the front pack like a champ, Josh tried to take a picture laying with a Swan (fail), and we witnessed some genius parents letting their 2 or 3 year old crawl into the Swan's food bin  thingy, which inevitably pissed off the giant birds who proceeded to squawk (blow their annoying swan horns?) at her while aggressively walking towards her. And the parents just watched. OH. MY. WORD. Josh started over to help, but thankfully, the smart child screamed and got away quickly. Annnnyway, other than that, it was a great time :) And I think I got a little sun on my face finally!! woop woop!

Lunch Bunch

We went to Third Army's (FRG) Lunch Bunch today at Chic-Fil-A! We got to meet Mrs. Amanda's new baby Parker, and Annabelle was completely amazed by all of the noise. It was fun, and I look forward to the next one.

Fussy baby

Poor little girl had a very upset tummy today. After each feeding she fussed and wiggled for several minutes (or an hour). :(

Commissary with carseat

Today we took a trip to the commissary after realizing we ate the last of the eggs, and drank the last of the milk. lol I was glad to figure out that Annabelle's carseat fits perfectly in the shopping cart like this! It's a big seat, so we weren't sure if it would fit at all. yay!

Pretty Day

What a gorgeous day! Sean and I took the dogs and baby for a nice long walk. This is how Annabelle felt about it afterwards: keep going? ;)

Baby Jeans

Annabelle go to look cute in her first pair of baby jeans today! :) I had planned on going to the FRG's Breakfast Club, but after our looong night of barley sleeping at all, we decided to skip it today. But we did go on base and hang out with Krystal and Keegan and checked out all of her cloth diapers, and then stopped by another wife's house to meet her and her two adorable girls with Sadie (Jen's hubby works with Sadie's hubby and they're both deployed), and stay for pizza! What a fun, friend-filled Friday :)

Recovery

I went on two walks yesterday and cleaned the whole house. So....today was a sleepy, stay in bed and cuddle recovery day! Look at these chubby cheeks! :)

Good morning Grandpa!

 My dad suggested we skype more often so Annabelle can hear his voice (even if just for a minute). After a lovely morning walk with the dogs, we did when she was awake and alert (and happy!). She responded to his voice and was staring at the screen. It was pretty cool! Then, she ate lunch and took a nap hereon the couch. I usually lay her on her back, but I really wanted to upload some pictures and fold some laundry, so I layed her down on her tummy. She prefers this, but because of all the warnings we swaddle her and lay her down to sleep at night on her back. Idk though...she slept like a rock like this for about 3 hours. 

Happy Valentines Day

Spent the day cleaning up the house and trying to get something made for Sean's gift (fail). Annabelle was being pretty cuddly/clingy (aka didn't want to be left alone AT ALL). Usually, totally okay, but today I had quite a bit I wanted done before Sean came home. Oh well. Such is life with a newborn. He came home early, so I was able to leave her with him and go get groceries. When I got home there was a trail of Hershey's kisses from the front door to our room where he and Annabelle were standing next to a big box of Russel Stovers, a long rose and a beautifully sweet card :) I LOVE my husband! Then, I made dinner while he bathed the stinky dogs (another gift to me! ;) . We all sat down at the dinner table and had delicious salmon, veggies and salad, cheesecake and strawberries for dessert. YUM! Then all three of us snuggled in bed and watched Valentines Day. Great day with my wonderful little family!

Dr. Visit

Annabelle had her 1 month doctors visit today. She did fabulous until she had to get her second hepB shot (first one given in hospital). Her scared/pained reaction almost made me cry! It was so sad! Thankfully, it was time for her to eat, so I fed her right away and all was well and forgotten :) More on her 1 month here.

1 Month

We had quiiiite the time trying to get a good 1 month picture. First, my camera wouldn't turn on (and I checked the battery; not the problem this time :/ poop), so I had to use my old 5mpx camera, and it just doesn't take very good pictures. Now that's one more thing we need to start saving for (I'm still hoping for a nicer quality Cannon Rebel or something....someday).

AAAAANYWAY....

Wedding Dress Shopping

Today Annabelle and I went with Sadie to Charleston for her first wedding dress shopping day! It was really fun and she really got a good idea of what looks good on her and what she wants! Annabelle did so well all day. I love my sweet, chillax baby :)

And in case, even though I highly doubt it, Chad see's this post, I don't want to give much away :). This is one of the "NO" dresses. Although she looks beautiful in it and every dress she tried on! This is not what she's looking for....aaand I'm guessing this one was like $2000 lol

Walmart

I was SO tired today. But I really wanted to get to Walmart to pick up a few things and get some groceries. Well, I figured it would be faster if I left Annabelle at home with Sean. It was, actually (obviously), but it was packed and took a little longer than I expected, so I had to really hurry home to feed her. I don't think I'll do that again. It stressed me out a bit that she even had a chance to get fussy over being hungry (I like to feed her as soon as I can tell she's hungry, and I've read that's the best way to do it). Anyway, Walmart was nuts, as usual, and I am always amazed at how crazy they get about certain holidays (i.e. Christmas, Valentines day and Halloween). Valentines is definitely the worst...yuck! red, and pink, balloons, bears, candy and hearts exploded everywhere...on EVERY aisle! sheesh. I highly doubt they sell all of that stuff, so why does it need to be so extreme?

Shopping buddy

Today Annabelle and I went on a little shopping trip. It only lasted about an hour because I needed to get her fed before the ESC meeting. She joined me on base (for the first time :) for the February meeting at the Thrift Shop. She was a good fuss-less baby and got to meet some of the members who watched her grow in my belly. Good day!

These men can cook

Alex and Sean made a delicious dinner tonight! They grilled steaks and brats, steamed veggies and Alex showed us an easy way to make some awesome sweet potato fries! yuuuum!

Friend day

Alex wanted to hold Annabelle today and swears she fist bumped him as he told her all about his plans to take her on a tour through DC lol too funny :)

My friend Krystal and her son Keagan came over for a visit and brought Annabelle this hooded towel that she made. So sweet!

Then, Sadie and I went to Michaels and picked out her wedding flowers! Her and Chad got married last Friday before he deployed (as I think I mentioned earlier this week), and are going to have a bigger ceremony and reception in Missouri when he gets back in May! So I get to help her prepare!! :) One of my favorite things to do, in fact. She got all of her flowers for under $100! woop woop! And aren't the pretty?
